On the third Sunday of each month (right after Platform), an informal group of parents and grandparents have started meeting in an upstairs classroom to talk about raising children as freethinkers. Using the Dale McGowan Parenting Beyond Belief and Raising Freethinkers books as inspiration, we have discussed topics such as:
- How do we talk to our children?
- How can we help our children define Humanism?
The meetings are intended to be casual discussions with everyone bringing their points of view to the conversation.
