This celebration of Charles Darwin and his Theory of Evolution will feature readings from Darwin’s “On the Origin of Species” and a community art project entitled “Evolution.” Darwin Day tradition calls for a Phylum Feast, which we are modernizing as a Phylum Sustainability Café, where you can try new foods that are sustainably produced and have less ecological impact than traditional foods. We will also be playing some critical-thinking games in honor of Darwin’s commitment to truth. Join us!
The Darwin Day Party will be followed on Sunday, Feb. 4, with a talk by Leader Curt Collier, “Darwin and the Possibilities of Existence.” The talk will be at the meetinghouse and on Zoom. More details about the party and the talk.
