Soup Symposium with Curt Collier: Why Science Sometimes Fails to Inspire

This is the second discussion in our six-week Soup Symposium with Leader Curt Collier. Together, participants will explore art and science topics in a search for common ground on which to understand our experiences and our ethics. Curt will bring the reading material up for discussion–and the soup–each week. This week: “To Infinity and Beyond” by Neil deGrasse Tyson and Why Science Sometimes Fails to Inspire.

Curt discussed the world of ideas, conveyed through art and science, in his recent column.The Soup Symposium sessions will continue that discussion.

Each session is in person at the meetinghouse, free for members and $5 for non-members, payable at the door; no registration required. More details about the symposium and the topics for each week.
