Welcome to Ethical Education! We are working together to grow great kids!
On Sunday, Sept. 12, we’re having an Ethical Education BYO Breakfast outdoors at the meetinghouse at 11 am. Join us to learn more about our Ethical Education program and to celebrate the beginning of the 2021-22 school year. Please bring your own breakfast in order to decrease shared spaces/foods.

Due to Covid restrictions, children still cannot meet indoors at the meetinghouse. Instead of our usual class schedule, we are simplifying our program, using the theme “Deed before Creed.” With that in mind, we are planning an action every month with a lesson to accompany it. Our current plan is that Sunday School will have two class meetings per month. For the first lesson of the month, we will meet outside at the Society. This lesson will be in preparation for an action, which will take place at the second meeting.
For example, in September our first meeting will be discussing the history of Alex’s Lemonade Stand, an organization that empowers children to raise money for cancer research, and the second meeting will be to create the lemonade stand and raise the money. In October we will have a lesson about food insecurity, and the action will be packing “snack packs” for the NJ Center for Food Action.
In between our class and action days, there will be “Sunday Funday” meetings outdoors at the Society, where kids can socialize and play together. Children will be able to come in with masks through a back door to use the downstairs bathroom. Specific dates will be published in the Weekly Announcements email and online.
