Who is eligible
This show is open to all members of the Bergen Ethical Culture Society and the Society’s Sunday School students, as well as Teaneck High School students by invitation.
All framed pieces should use either Plexiglass/plastic or have no protection. No glass will be accepted. Please be sure your name and contact phone number are taped to the back of each piece.
Types of artwork
Two dimensional artwork including watercolor, oil, acrylic, colored pencil, mixed media, printmaking, and photography; three-dimensional artwork including ceramics, sculpture, basketry, weaving.
All 2D artwork must be either framed or mounted on sturdy board. Framed art must include two eye screws on back for hanging. Maximum size for 2D art is 18 x 24 inches. (Larger pieces may be accepted upon special request).
Up to four pieces of artwork may be submitted. Please note that we will try to fit as many as space allows, but cannot guarantee inclusion of all art.
To enter: Fill out one Submission Form per entry. Also, send a jpeg file of your artwork to [email protected] with Spring Arts Festival in the subject line and your name and title of the artwork in the body of the email. All Submission Forms must be received by March 1 to be considered.
Submission fee: There is a $10 entry fee per applicant, regardless of the number of pieces, to help defray costs for this event
Acceptance of artwork: If your artwork is accepted, you will be notified by email.
Delivering your artwork
Accepted artwork must be brought to the Ethical Culture Society, 687 Larch Ave., Teaneck, NJ, for hanging on Thursday, March 14, from 6 to 9 pm or on Friday, March 15, from 10 am to 1 pm. Please do not drop off artwork earlier as we have no place to store it where we can guarantee its safety. For special arrangements, please contact Curt Collier at [email protected].
Retrieval of artwork
Please pick up your artwork after the show on Sunday, March 17, from 2 to 6 pm. For extenuating circumstances, contact Curt Collier for special arrangement.
