A new slate of officers and committee chairs was approved by the Society’s members at the Spring Membership Meeting on Sunday, May 15th. (Their names are listed below.)
Many thanks to the Nominating Committee for all their work in putting together the slate. And warm thanks to all the volunteers – those leaving their positions and the new volunteers who have agreed to take on leadership responsibilities in the Society.
We will honor the outgoing officers and chairs and welcome the new ones with a lovely catered dinner on Saturday, June 11th. We will also honor Tracey Kelley, who will receive an Anna Garlin Spencer Volunteer of the Year award at the AEU Assembly in July. We will also present the Jack Rubenstein Ethical Action Award to Jim Walsh – this award is given to a nonmember who has made a difference by his/her ethical social actions.
