Members Show Up and Speak Up to Defend the Environment

Society members participated in the Global Climate Strike on Sept. 20 in both Teaneck and New York City and attended NJ Gov. Phil Murphy’s Town Hall in Teaneck on Sept. 25. At the Town Hall, Janet Glass asked the governor to name the steps he would take to support the facts of climate science and asked how allowing fracking to produce natural gas was compatible with climate science. Her questions and Gov. Murphy’s responses can be seen in this video from the Town Hall.
