JOAN & JONI Sat., Feb 20 at Ethical Brew

January 24, 2021

On Saturday, Feb. 20, Ethical Brew will be presenting, “JOAN & JONI,” a special fundraising event with proceeds to benefit our very own Bergen Society.

Joan & Joni is a tribute to music icons Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell, performed by singer/songwriters Allison Shapira and Kipyn Martin. Allison and Kipyn are both classically trained musicians from the DC-area folk music scene. In Joan & Joni, Allison and Kipyn bring to the stage many of Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell’s well-known originals and folk songs, as well as a few hidden gems. They also highlight the impact these legendary women have had on their own songwriting and performance.

The concert, which will start at 7:30 pm, will be broadcast in high-quality sound via Zoom livestream.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased below. Ticket purchasers will receive a link via email prior to the show.

SOLD OUT!

Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy some of your favorite J&J tunes while supporting our Society and these two masterful musicians at the same time. Mark your calendar now!

What We Do For Fun….

There's always time for play: celebrations, discussions (some in Spanish -- find Conversemos on our calendar on the fourth Tuesday of the month), hikes, picnics, cultural outings, and affinity groups like our monthly Men's Dinners and Women's Dinners.
