We’d love to welcome you to our three-week Humanist for the Holidays celebration, starting with the Winter Festival–Light of Peace on the evening of Dec. 16 and ending with our Do Tell! Diner on the morning of Dec. 31.
There’s something for everyone in our holiday line-up:
Winter Festival, Dec. 16, 5-7:30 pm: We’ll have an in-person, indoor, interactive festival of light, an exploration of building peace in these troubled times, and finish with a potluck celebrating the warmth of gathering. Join us! In person only at the meetinghouse.
A Winter Day’s Colloquy with Curt, Dec. 17, 11-12:30 pm: This group conversation, facilitated by Leader Curt Collier, is a chance to share a bit of ourselves and reflect on the changing season and human flourishing. In person and on Zoom.
Favorite Holiday Memories, Dec. 24, 11-12:30 pm: This interactive, intergenerational discussion and activity, led by member Gerry Migliore, is designed to create a joyful holiday experience. Participants will draw upon their talents, memories, and imaginations to design an experience that enriches community and goodwill. In person and on Zoom.
Do Tell! Diner: A True Story Potluck, Dec. 31, 11-12:30 pm: The Do Tell! Diner, with maitre d’ Eric Sandhusen, opens again, serving heaping helpings of our favorite foods and tasty tales. Family favorite? Dinner party disaster? You are what you eat, so bring a favorite dish to share, and a story to tell about why you brought it for a fun, delicious way to learn more about each other. (Vegan/gluten-free options will be available). In person and on Zoom.
