Society President Eric Sandhusen was among the community, religious, and political leaders who spoke at the commemoration of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on Sunday. Eric emphasized the Society’s commitment to racial justice, including our work in the past as well as current efforts. About 300 people attended the event, which took place near the Martin Luther King Jr. statue at Fairleigh Dickinson University. The Society is a member of the Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Committee, which planned the commemoration.
