At the Community Dinner on Dec. 7, a joint endeavor of the Social Affairs and Finance Committees, members enjoyed a beautiful evening, thanks in large part to the efforts of Azar Gordon, whose coordination of this event was extraordinary. Janet Glass, master of ceremonies, started the evening with an amusing account of the “Top 10 Reasons I Love Being Finance Chair.” Lisa Schwartz, Membership Committee co-chair, talked about the Community Weekend and then the Ethical Music Makers led everyone in a sing-a-long. Treasurer Esther Sandrof reported on our financial outlook, and Leader Joe Chuman closed the evening with an upbeat forecast for our Society.
