Sunday Gathering and School Supply Drive: Celebrate Education!

As the new school year begins, join us to honor education and educators and help counteract shrinking budgets, dwindling resources, and interference in education.

North Jersey teachers–kindergarten through college–are invited to this special gathering in their honor, and Society members and the public are asked to bring classroom supplies that morning for distribution.

This event includes career information for future teachers, music and entertainment, educational toys for children, and lunch. Education is a key feature of a functioning democracy. Help us celebrate teachers and learning!
