‘Coded Bias,’ free documentary on perils of Artificial Intelligence

March 10 @ 7:00 pm

Our Society is co-sponsoring a free streaming documentary, “Coded Bias,” a one-hour version of the documentary about the perils of using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for facial recognition. The film shows how AI algorithms often identify women and persons of color incorrectly. Viewers will see the film simultaneously and be able to comment in the chat window.
The screening will be followed by a live talkback featuring New Jersey’s Attorney General Gurbir Grewal and FDU Professor of Sociology Riad Nasser. This screening is a joint project of The Teaneck International Film Festival, the Public Broadcasting System’s Indie Lens, and The Puffin Foundation. Tickets are free but you must register to obtain the link: https://www.eventbrite.com/…/teaneck-international-film…
