Clothing Drive for Helpsy

Bring your unneeded clothes, shoes, sheets, tablecloths, and other textiles to our Helpsy Clothing Drive, sponsored by the Social Action Committee. Bins to receive your donations will be available on the meetinghouse grounds.
Alex Husted, a founder of the nonprofit Helpsy, was a platform speaker in February, 2020, when he pointed out that over 85 percent of our clothing ends up as trash and that 10 percent of our landfills are textiles.
Helpsy, with a mission to reuse and recycle clothes and shoes, does things differently.
